The Celestial Windows Middlesbrough Over 35 League is an amateur football league for players over the age of 35 in the Middlesbrough area. The league is affiliated with the Football Association (FA) and currently has 12 teams competing in a single division.
History
The league was founded in 2013 by a group of local football enthusiasts who wanted to provide a competitive playing environment for players over the age of 35. The league has grown steadily since its inception and now has over 100 players registered.
Format
The league plays a season of 20 matches, with each team playing each other team twice. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Teesside Over 40 League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Teesside Over 30 League.
Current Season
The current season is the 10th season of the Celestial Windows Middlesbrough Over 35 League. The current champions are Hartlepool FC (O.35s) Veterans First, who won the title in the 2022-23 season.
