Introduction
The Cambridgeshire 9v9 Kempton football league is an amateur football league based in Cambridgeshire, England. It was founded in 2019 by Barry Kempton, a local businessman and former footballer.
The league is open to all players aged 16 and over, regardless of ability. There are 10 teams in the league, which play each other home and away. The season runs from September to May.
The league is sponsored by B.M Kempton Ltd, a car body repair business in Chesterton, Cambridge.
Rules
- The games are played on 9v9 pitches.
- There are no goalkeepers.
- The games are 20 minutes each half.
- There is no offside rule.
- The winner is the team with the most goals at the end of the game.
