Burton & District Sunday Football League
The Burton & District Sunday Football League (BDSFL) is an amateur football league based in Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire, England.
It was founded in 1964 and currently has 4 divisions, with a total of 60 teams. The league is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) through being a member of the Birmingham County Football Association. The minimum age of players is 16 years.
History
The BDSFL was founded in 1964 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season saw 12 teams compete in a single division. The league has since grown to its current size of 4 divisions and 60 teams.
The BDSFL has a long and proud history of producing talented players. Some of the players who have played in the league include:

- Danny Murphy
- David Nugent
Current Season
The 2023-2024 season is currently underway. The top division of the league is the TAG Premier Division. The other divisions are Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3.
The current season has seen some exciting matches so far. In the TAG Premier Division, the current leaders are Ashby United CFC. They are followed by Edge Hill and Stapenhill FC.
Future Plans
The BDSFL is committed to providing quality football for players of all abilities. The league is currently looking to expand to 5 divisions in the near future.
The BDSFL is also looking to improve the facilities available to its teams. The league is currently in the process of developing a new headquarters.
