Introduction
The Budapest International Football League (BIFL) is an amateur football league for expats living in Budapest, Hungary. It was founded in 2001 and now has over 20 teams competing in a variety of divisions, including 11-a-side, 7-a-side, and 5-a-side.
The BIFL is open to players of all nationalities and skill levels. The league runs from September to December and from mid-February to May. Games are played on weekends at various venues around Budapest.

History

Divisions
The BIFL currently has four divisions:
- Premier League
- Division 1
- Division 2
- Division 3
The Premier League is the top division and is open to the best teams in the league. Division 1 is the second tier, followed by Division 2 and Division 3.
The BIFL also has a number of cup competitions, including the BIFL Cup, the BIFL Charity Shield, and the BIFL Veterans Cup.
