Brighton Pitch Invasion
There have been a number of pitch invasions at Brighton and Hove Albion matches in recent months.
Incidents
- A Palace fan ran onto the pitch during the Albion vs Palace derby game on 14 January, just after Palace scored. He was arrested and later banned from attending football matches for three years.
- A Just Stop Oil protester ran onto the pitch during the Albion vs Brentford game on 12 February. She was arrested and later fined £40.
- A fan ran onto the pitch during the Albion vs Chelsea game on 1 March. He was arrested and later banned from attending football matches for indefinitely.
Response from the club
Brighton and Hove Albion have condemned the pitch invasions and have warned fans that they face indefinite bans if they are caught doing it again.
The club has also said that it is working with the police to identify the people involved in the incidents.
