Bridge Balti Halifax Sunday Football League
The Bridge Balti Halifax Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently consists of 20 teams. The league plays its matches on Sundays throughout the season, which runs from September to May.
The league is divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and the First Division. The top two teams in the Premier Division at the end of the season are promoted to the West Riding County Amateur Football League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the First Division. The top two teams in the First Division are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Reserve Division.
The league cup is the Bridge Balti Halifax Sunday Trophy. It is competed for by all teams in the league. The winner of the trophy qualifies for the West Riding County Amateur Football League Challenge Cup.
