Brasileirão Assaí
The Brasileirão Assaí is an amateur football league in Brazil. It is organized by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) and is played by teams from all over the country. The league is named after the Brazilian supermarket chain Assaí.
History
The Brasileirão Assaí was founded in 2023. The first season was won by the team from São Paulo, Corinthians.
Format
The Brasileirão Assaí is a single-elimination tournament. The teams are divided into groups of four, and the top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage. The final is played between the winners of the two semi-finals.
