Introduction

The Bradford Summer Cup is an amateur football league that is held in Bradford, England. It is open to teams from all over the district and is played during the summer months. The competition is organized by Akif Khan and is supported by the West Riding FA.

History

The Bradford Summer Cup was first held in 2017. The inaugural winner was Toller FC, who defeated Clayton AFC in the final. The competition has grown in popularity in recent years and now attracts over 100 teams each year.

Format

The Bradford Summer Cup is a knockout competition. The teams are divided into groups and the top teams from each group progress to the knockout stages. The final is played at a neutral venue.

Rules

The competition is played under the rules of the English FA. The matches are 90 minutes long, with two halves of 45 minutes each. There is no extra time or penalties in the knockout stages.
