The Blackpool And Fylde Sunday Alliance (BFSFA) is an amateur football league based in Blackpool, Lancashire, England. The league was founded in 1961 and currently has over 100 teams competing in its various divisions.
History
The BFSFA was founded in 1961 with just five teams. The league has since grown to over 100 teams and is now one of the largest Sunday football leagues in Lancashire. The league is affiliated to the Lancashire Football Association and its teams compete in various cup competitions throughout the season.
Divisions
The BFSFA currently has four divisions: Premier Division, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. The Premier Division is the top division and is contested by the best teams in the league. The other divisions are divided into two sections, A and B.
Cup Competitions
The BFSFA also hosts a number of cup competitions throughout the season, including the Gledhill Trophy, the Berry's Beds Cup, and the Division One Cup. The Gledhill Trophy is the most prestigious cup competition in the league and is contested by all teams in the Premier Division and Division One.
