Black Sheep Brewery Hambleton Ales
Black Sheep Brewery Hambleton Ales is an amateur football league based in the Hambleton District of North Yorkshire, England.
The league was founded in 1991 by Nick Stafford, who was made redundant twice within seven months during the worst recession since the Second World War. Stafford set out to earn a living without relocating, and the brewery was initially based in a small garage.
The league has grown steadily over the years, and now has over 30 teams competing in a variety of divisions. The teams are drawn from villages and towns across the Hambleton District, and the league is a popular way for people to get involved in football in the area.
