Birmingham Ability Counts League
The Birmingham Ability Counts League is an amateur football league for people with disabilities in the Birmingham area. It was founded in 2015 by a group of parents of children with disabilities who wanted to provide opportunities for their children to play football.
The league currently has teams for adults and children with a variety of disabilities, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions. The teams play in a variety of divisions, depending on the level of ability of the players.
The league is affiliated with the Birmingham County FA and follows the FA's disability football guidelines. The league also has a qualified referee for each match.
