Introduction
The BFAUK (Blackforge Amateur Football League) is an amateur football league in Dublin, Ireland. It was founded in 1978 and currently has over 60 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The league is affiliated with the Football Association of Ireland (FAI) and its teams are eligible to compete in the FAI Intermediate Cup and the FAI Junior Cup.
The BFAUK season runs from September to May and each team plays 20 games. The top teams in each division are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated.
Structure
The BFAUK is divided into four divisions: Premier, First, Second, and Third. The Premier Division is the top division and the Third Division is the bottom division.
Each division has 12 teams. The teams in each division play each other twice, once at home and once away.
The top team in each division is promoted to the next division, while the bottom team is relegated.
