Berkshire Youth Development Summer League
The Berkshire Youth Development Summer League (BYDL) is an amateur football league for players aged 7-16. The league was founded in 2005 and is based in Berkshire, England. The league runs from June to August each year and consists of two divisions:
- Division 1: For players aged 14-16
- Division 2: For players aged 7-13
The BYDL uses a round-robin format, with each team playing each other team once. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season qualify for the BYDL Cup, which is held at the end of the summer.
The BYDL is affiliated with the Football Association (FA) and all players must be registered with the FA. The league also has a code of conduct that all players and coaches must adhere to.
The BYDL is a great way for young players to develop their football skills and experience competitive matches. The league also provides a fun and enjoyable environment for players to learn and grow.
