Berkshire County Girls Football League
The Berkshire County Girls Football League (BCgFL) is an amateur football league for girls in Berkshire, England. It was founded in 1995 and currently has over 100 teams playing in a variety of age groups.
Mission Statement
The BCgFL's mission is to provide a fun, safe, and challenging environment for girls to play football. The league is committed to developing players of all abilities and providing opportunities for girls to progress to the highest levels of the game.
Structure
The BCgFL is divided into three divisions: the Premier Division, Division 1, and Division 2. The Premier Division is the highest level of competition, followed by Division 1 and Division 2. Teams are promoted and relegated between divisions based on their results at the end of the season.
The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including the U10 Cup, the U11 Cup, and the U12 Cup. These competitions provide additional opportunities for teams to play competitive football.
