The Belmonte Thant Sunday Football League was founded in 1976 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just four teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 10 teams. The league is named after the Belmonte Thant Estate, which is located in the town of Dartford.
Format
The Belmonte Thant Sunday Football League plays a league format, with each team playing each other team once. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the Kent County League, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the Kent Amateur Football League.
