About Belmonte Amateur Football League
The Belmonte Amateur Football League is a non-profit organization that provides opportunities for adults to play amateur football in the San Francisco Bay Area. The league was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams playing in a variety of divisions.
The league's mission is to provide a fun and competitive environment for adults to play football. The league also strives to promote sportsmanship and camaraderie among its members.
Divisions
The Belmonte Amateur Football League has a variety of divisions, including:
- Recreational
- Competitive
- Masters (ages 35 and over)
- Women's
The divisions are divided by skill level and age. The recreational divisions are for players who are new to football or who want to play for fun. The competitive divisions are for players who want to play more seriously. The masters division is for players who are 35 years old and over. The women's division is for female players.
Season
The regular season consists of a 10-game schedule. The top teams in each division qualify for the playoffs. The playoffs are single-elimination.
Signups
Signups for the Belmonte Amateur Football League are open in January. The deadline to signup is March 1st.
