Belfast Friday 1st Division
The Belfast Friday 1st Division is an amateur football league in Northern Ireland. It is the top division of the Belfast & District Football League (BDFL), and is played on Friday evenings.
The league was founded in 1921, and currently consists of 14 teams. The teams are:
- East Belfast
- Derriaghy CC
- Crumlin Star
- Immaculata FC
- Rosemount Rec
- Comber Rec FC
- Crumlin United
- Islandmagee
- Ards Rangers
- Drumaness Mills
- Shankill United
- Rosario Y.C.
- Dromara Village
- Larne Tech O.B.
The current champions are East Belfast, who won the title in the 2022-23 season.
The league is played in a double round-robin format, with each team playing each other team twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams at the end of the season are promoted to the BDFL Premier Division, and the bottom two teams are relegated to the BDFL Second Division.
The league is affiliated to the Irish Football Association (IFA).
