Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Women's Football League
The Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Women's Football League (BHWFL) is an amateur football league for women in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, England. It was founded in 2004 and currently consists of three divisions: Premier, Division One, and Division Two.
History
The BHWFL was founded in 2004 by a group of volunteers who wanted to provide more opportunities for women to play football in the region. The league started with just one division, but it has since grown to three divisions.
The BHWFL is affiliated with the Football Association (FA) and follows the FA's rules and regulations. The league also has its own set of rules and regulations, which are designed to ensure that all teams have a fair and enjoyable experience.
Structure
The BHWFL consists of three divisions: Premier, Division One, and Division Two. Each division has a set number of teams, which are determined by the league's management committee.
The teams in each division play each other home and away, with the top teams at the end of the season being promoted to the next division and the bottom teams being relegated to the previous division.
Competitions
In addition to the league, the BHWFL also organizes a number of cup competitions, including the Chris Renshaw Cup and the League Cup. The Chris Renshaw Cup is open to all teams in the BHWFL, while the League Cup is only open to teams in the Premier and Division One divisions.
