Basildon District Schools Secondary Football Leagues
The Basildon District Schools Secondary Football Leagues (BDSSFL) is an amateur football league for secondary schools in the Basildon district of Essex, England.
The league was founded in 1972 and currently has 32 teams playing across 4 divisions. The divisions are:
- Senior Boys
- U12 Boys
- U13 Boys
- U13 Girls
The league season runs from September to April, with each team playing each other team in their division once. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division.
The BDSSFL also hosts a number of cup competitions, including the Senior Boys District Cup, the U12 Boys District Cup, and the U13 Boys District Cup.
The league is affiliated to the Essex County Football Association (ECFA).
