The Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League is an amateur football league in Lincolnshire, England. It is the second-tier of football in the county, below the Northern Counties East Football League. The league was founded in 1902 and currently consists of 20 clubs.
History
The Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League was founded in 1902 as the Lincolnshire League. The league was originally a single division, but was expanded to two divisions in 1921. The league was renamed the Lincolnshire Amateur League in 1970, and then the Lincolnshire Football League in 1994. The league's current name was adopted in 2018.
Structure
The Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League currently consists of 20 clubs divided into two divisions: the Premier Division and Division One. The top two clubs in the Premier Division are promoted to the Northern Counties East Football League, while the bottom two clubs in Division One are relegated to the Lincolnshire County Football League.
Current Season
The 2022-23 season is the current season of the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire League. The Premier Division is currently being led by Cleethorpes Town Reserves, while Division One is being led by Nettleham.
