Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League
The Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League is an amateur football league in Lincolnshire, England. It is a member of the English football league system and National League System, and is currently ranked at Step 7 (level 11 overall).
The league was founded in 1888 and currently consists of 20 clubs. The teams are divided into two divisions, the Premier Division and Division One. The league champions are promoted to the Northern Counties East Football League, while the bottom two teams in the Premier Division are relegated to Division One.
History
The Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League was founded in 1888 as the Lincolnshire League. The league was originally a single division, but was split into two divisions in 1900. The league has been sponsored by Balcan Lighting Supplies since 2018.
The league has produced a number of professional footballers, including former England internationals Paul Gascoigne and Chris Sutton.
Current Season
The 2023-24 season is the current season of the Balcan Lighting Supplies Lincolnshire Football League. The Premier Division is currently led by Cleethorpes Town Reserves, while Division One is led by Brigg Town FC CIC.
