Balby Monday Night League
The Balby Monday Night League is an amateur 6-a-side football league based in Doncaster, England. It is played at the Astrea Academy Woodfields, and is open to players of all abilities.
History
The league was founded in 2010 by a group of friends who wanted to create a more relaxed and informal environment for playing football. It has since grown to become one of the most popular amateur leagues in the area.
Format
The league is played over a 10-week season, with each team playing each other once. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
There are currently three divisions in the league: Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3. Each division has 8 teams.
Rules
The league plays by the FA's Laws of the Game, with a few modifications. The most notable modification is that there is no offside rule.
