The Aylesbury & District League was founded in 1904 and originally consisted of just four teams. The league has grown steadily over the years and now has 16 teams competing in its Premier Division.
The league has been won by a variety of teams over the years, but the most successful club is Aylesbury United, who have won the title 14 times. Other successful clubs include Buckingham Town, Haddenham & District, and Winslow United.
