Avon Youth League
The Avon Youth League is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7 to 18 in the Avon area of England. It was founded in 1964 and currently has over 200 member clubs.
Divisions
The Avon Youth League has a number of divisions for different age groups and abilities. The top division for boys is the Premier Division, while the top division for girls is the Championship. There are also a number of regional divisions, as well as a development league for younger players.
Season
The Avon Youth League season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their division home and away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
Cup competitions
The Avon Youth League also organizes a number of cup competitions for its member clubs. The most prestigious cup competition is the Avon Senior Cup, which is open to all teams in the Premier Division and Championship. There are also a number of other cup competitions for different age groups and abilities.
