Ashford and District Youth Football League
The Ashford and District Youth Football League (A&D YFL) is an amateur football league based in Ashford, Kent, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in various age groups from Under-7s to Under-18s.
History
The A&D YFL was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially had just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams competing.
The A&D YFL is affiliated with the English Football Association (FA) and follows the FA's rules and regulations. The league also has its own set of rules and regulations, which are designed to ensure that all teams have a fair and enjoyable experience.
Structure
The A&D YFL is divided into three divisions: Division One, Division Two, and Division Three. The teams in each division are ranked according to their results, and the top teams at the end of the season are promoted to the next division. The bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
The A&D YFL also has a cup competition, the A&D YFL Cup. The cup is open to all teams in the league, and the winner of the cup is crowned the A&D YFL Cup Champion.
