Introduction
The Ashford & District Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in Ashford, Kent, England. It was founded in 1960 and currently consists of four divisions, with a total of 40 teams. The league is affiliated to the Kent County Football Association.
History
The Ashford & District Sunday Football League was founded in 1960 with just one division of 12 teams. The inaugural season was won by Newtown Ramblers FC. The league has since grown to four divisions, and is now regarded as one of the strongest competitions in Kent grassroots football.
Some of the most successful teams in the history of the league include Ashford Dynamo FC, who have won the title 11 times, and Park Farm Rangers, who have won it 10 times.
Current season
The current season is the 2023-2024 season. The Premier Division is currently being led by Park Farm Rangers, with Ashford United in second place. The other teams in the Premier Division are:
