Allied Counties Youth Football League
The Allied Counties Youth Football League (ACYFL) is an amateur football league for 16 to 18 year olds at semi-professional clubs across the Thames Valley.
The league was founded in 1972 and currently consists of 30 clubs, divided into four divisions: Central, North, East, and West.
The ACYFL season runs from September to April, with each team playing 22 matches. The top two teams from each division are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated.
The ACYFL also has a cup competition, the Allied Counties Youth Cup, which is open to all teams in the league. The cup competition is played in a knockout format, with the final usually being played in May.
