History
The Accrington Combination was originally founded in 1892 as the Accrington & District League. It was renamed the Accrington Combination in 1904. The league has been won by a number of clubs over the years, including Accrington Stanley, who won the title in 1921-22. The league folded in 2016 after 99 seasons. However, it was revived in 2022.
