About the Accrington & District J.F.L

The Accrington & District J.F.L (Junior Football League) is a Saturday morning junior grassroots football league based in Lancashire, England. It was established back in 1958 and was originally known as the Accrington & District Boys Football League.

The league currently has over 100 member clubs, catering for teams in age groups of U7 to U18s. Matches are played on Saturday mornings throughout the season, which runs from September to May.

The league is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and its teams compete in the FA Youth Cup and FA Vase competitions.
