5e Reserveklasse
The 5e Reserveklasse is the ninth tier of the Dutch football league system. It is a reserve team competition, meaning that the teams involved are the reserve teams of clubs that play in higher leagues.
The 5e Reserveklasse is divided into 10 regional leagues:
- 5e klasse zaterdag Noord
- 5e klasse zaterdag Oost
- 5e klasse zaterdag Zuid
- 5e klasse zondag Noord
- 5e klasse zondag Oost
- 5e klasse zondag Zuid
- 5e klasse zondag Zuid II
- 5e klasse zondag West
- 5e klasse zondag West II
The season runs from September to April, with each team playing each other team in their league twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in each league are promoted to the 4e Reserveklasse, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the 6e Reserveklasse.
The 5e Reserveklasse is a competitive league, with many teams vying for promotion to the 4e Reserveklasse. The standard of play is also high, with many talented players competing in the league.
The 5e Reserveklasse is a great way for young players to develop their skills and experience. It is also a great way for players who are not quite good enough to play in the first team to continue playing competitive football.
