1ª Fase Amateur Football League
The 1ª Fase football league is a youth football league in Portugal. It is the first stage of the Portuguese football league system for boys under 10 years old. The league is divided into three regional groups: the North, Center, and South.
The 1ª Fase season runs from September to May. Each team plays each other team in their group twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams from each group qualify for the regional finals. The winners of the regional finals then compete in the national finals.
History
The 1ª Fase was founded in 1990. The original purpose of the league was to provide a competitive environment for young football players in Portugal. The league has grown in popularity over the years and now attracts players from all over the country.
Rules
- The game is played on a full-size football field.
- The teams consist of 11 players, including a goalkeeper.
- The game is played in two halves of 30 minutes each.
- The team with the most goals at the end of the game wins.
